The 2025 All-USA Football Team watchlist has been announced, and there’s one major Ohio State football commit appearing among the names. And it’s a big one.
Five-star wide receiver commit, Chris Henry Jr., the son of the late former NFL player, Chris Henry, has been named to the list. The senior from Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, California, is a physical specimen. He’s listed as 6-foot, 5-inches, and 205 lbs, but is blessed with speed and body control not often seen with a prospect of his size. He’s also got great length that helps him deploy a wide catch radius and go up to get balls in traffic.
According to the 247Sports Composite rankings, Henry is ranked as the No. 2 receiver in the 2026 class and 19th overall recruit in the cycle. He missed his junior year because of injury and is quickly rising up the ranks as he shows what he can do during his senior campaign.
Logan Newman of USA TODAY HS Sports sums up where Henry is at this moment of landing on the watchlist.
“Chris Henry Jr. is passing the eye test as a senior after missing most of his junior year, attracting quite a bit of attention from defenders while making big plays for Mater Dei, writes Newman. “His 353 yards and three touchdowns leave room for growth statistically as the season continues.”
It should be noted that the watchlist can be added to and/or changed as the season progresses. The final ALL-USA Football Team will be unveiled in December alongside the regional teams.
