“Hi everyone, I just wanted to update you on where we’re at with Mission 44. Setting up Mission 44 has been one of my proudest achievements, honestly. We’re working hard to drive change and create a fairer, more inclusive future for kids around the world,” Hamilton shared in an update posted on the Mission 44 social media channels.

“So far, we’ve reached over half a million young people across the UK, US and Brazil and it’s been a real privilege to meet and host many of them at grand prix events.

“Meeting our incredible motorsport scholars at Silverstone this year was a real highlight and I’m really proud of the scholarship. It’s great to see that the students secure jobs in F1, so we’re seeing real progress. Thank you to everyone for the amazing work and being a part of this mission. There’s much more to come. So stay tuned. Take care.”
