Historic miltesotnes headline the latest USA TODAY Sports Super 25 flag football rankings.
At the forefront, No. 2 JSerra Catholic capped off an impressive run in Southern California, taking down No. 8 Orange Lutheran in the CIF-SS Div. 1 championship. The Lions extended their perfect record to 28 games, leaving little doubt about the team’s national distinction.

Meanwhile, Alabama’s top teams haven’t slowed a bit in the past two months, with No. 3 Central (Phenix City, Ala.) extending its winning streak to 54 games and No. 6 Vestavia Hills (Ala.) picking up a 25th consecutive victory.
Speaking of impressive streaks, the highest honor belongs to Georgia’s top team. Southeast Bulloch (Brooklet, Ga.) has not only moved into the top 10 after another dominant week, but the Yellow Jackets have now won 93 of the team’s 94 games all-time. That’s right: 93-1.
However, all the flag football titans are still giving chase to Hamilton (Chandler, Ariz.). The Huskies’ 2025 campaign has been nearly flawless, with the team outscoring opponents by an average of two touchdowns — a wild stat highlighted by over 820 points scored and less than 70 allowed.
Super 25 flag football selection process
In partnership with the NFL, the teams are determined by a USA TODAY Network selection committee of editors and writers in the participating, officially sanctioned states and the USA TODAY High School Sports staff.

The process considers factors ranging from last year’s results based on NFHS Network data, carryover into this season, and a primary focus on 2025 records and overall performance. A team’s state ranking influences its national placement, a process that allows editorial expertise and objectivity to blend with the ever-present subjectivity.
